My experience at the House of Blues was not nearly as exciting as Kassie and Naughty's but I did get to see Peter, Jackson, Charlie, Ashley and Nikki. That was so much fun and Christina Perri was beautiful as well. I am absolutely hooked on "A Thousand Years" - I have it on repeat in my car. I also got to spend a great evening with my wonderful daughter Lauren, my sister Barb, my niece Robyn. Plus we got to hang out with the cool chicks we met in line on Saturday, Amanda and Nicole and they brought Taylor who fell right in with our crazy shenanigans! We also ran into Mama Cougar who had Papa Cougar (the world's most AMAZING husband!) with her.
The weather sucked out there while we waited in line and it started to get a bit claustrophobic there towards the end. Of course the whole thing was running behind, so we ended staying outside 30 minutes longer than we were supposed to and that's when it really started to rain!
When we finally got inside, all we could think about was finding somewhere to sit. As much as I would have loved to see the cast up close, I just could not fathom the idea of standing for several more hours in a crowd. So we found some open bar stools toward the back of the HOB and were perfectly content. I did get to move around the room a bit and take some pics before it got to crowded. Here's some of the pics I took.

Here are the few pictures I took because I was too far back and they all sucked. I did get some videos. Hopefully I captured some of the funnier moments.

I'm glad you got pictures of all the posters and the 'wedding invitation'... I was rushing so didn't get the chance to really look at it all.
ReplyDeleteWith regards to the event as a whole I think it could have been handled better, but I'm glad we all got to experience this!
I love A Thousand Years too! Such a great song!
